Eureka! I have found one good reason for visiting Fareham.  No, its not the largest Woolworths in the South or…the…this that and the other (!?), its Naz. 

The PLACE can be found on half way down West Street and has clearly made an effort to win over the locals. Lunch Specials, Monday, Sunday night buffets, Christmas Party Menu’s, light, comfortable, pink and purple inside, fresh flowers on the table. 

SERVICE was perfectly civil, a tad aloof, probably used to being busy busy given the state of the other Indian joints I'd just walked past.  PRICES were bumped up a little too, starting at £6.50 for a main, remember this is F***ham (the arse of the world?). 

FOOD was yummy.  Jeera Chicken carried a gorgeous sweet cumin flavoured aroma that lingered long and a dry veg dish of Niramish, tasted quite unique.  My enjoyment was shared by 3 or 4 couples, adventurous pensioners foregoing their usual parkin and a cup of greased tea for a change (£4.95 lunch set).

In SUMMARY I got £8.60 back from £20, given the quality food and the brevity of my visit I would like to return, suspect there could be quite a buzz in the evening here.
